It's been more than a year since the infamous OceanGate submersible disaster, and now new details about the doomed sub are finally emerging thanks to a hearing with the Coast Guard Marine Board of Investigation.
We've learned many shocking revelations, but perhaps the biggest reveal came when released footage of the ocean-floor wreckage showed a ratchet strap attached around the outside of the sub, still perfectly intact. I guess I shouldn't stress as much the next time I decide to tie down my car's oversized load.
See that photo and many others in this collection of the best randoms of the week.
